Application round for the main fund started Monday 1.8.2016 and closes on Wednesday 31.8.2016 at 24 Finnish time. Grants are awarded for sciences, litterature, arts and public education.
Finnish citizens and private individuals, working groups and collectives who reside in Finland can apply for grants. Only private individuals can apply for science grants.
You can apply for a grant from the main fund for a specific purpose, which can be, for example, work on a Ph.D., artistic work, or organising an event. Further information on the purposes of a grant is available for each section, i.e. under sciences, literature, arts, and public education.
