Growth Connects People and Nature at the Kultaranta Summer Exhibition
In June 2026, the sculpture exhibition Growth opens in the garden of Kultaranta in Naantali, the summer residence of the President of the Republic of Finland. The exhibition explores themes of personal growth, the vitality of nature, and the connection and coexistence between humans and the natural world.

Major Cultural Projects Grant Awarded to ODDfest, Red Nose Company and Tampere University
Major Cultural Projects tackle societal challenges through the perspectives of science, art, and public enlightenment. The projects are ambitious and impactful, aiming for long-term continuity. In 2026, the grant will be awarded to ODDfest, Red Nose Company, and Tampere University.

Foundations establish a new company: Support for child and youth work and culture through impact first funding
The Solutions Fund Effekt (Ratkaisurahasto Effekt Oy) is a newly established company that supports and finances social projects with measurable, long-term results. Its initial focus is on children and youth, as well as cultural and educational initiatives.

Alfred Kordelin Prizes awarded to Tuomas Sandholm, Outi Tarkiainen and Timo Miettinen
The €50,000 Alfred Kordelin Prize is one of the most significant annual awards presented in Finland. The prizes are awarded for socially impactful and topical contributions to science, the arts and public education.

Kordelin Foundation and Office of the President of the Republic of Finland to partner with WAM Turku City Art Museum
Since 2011, the Alfred Kordelin Foundation and the Office of the President of the Republic of Finland have organised summer sculpture exhibitions in the Kultaranta garden. Beginning next summer, the exhibitions will be presented in cooperation with WAM Turku City Art Museum.

Office on Summer Break – Closed in July
The Alfred Kordelin Foundation’s office will be closed for the month of July. We will be available again starting August 1, 2025. We wish you a peaceful and enjoyable summer.

Unique sculpture exhibition arises in Kultaranta – garden features works by seven artists
The Office of the President of the Republic of Finland and the Alfred Kordelin Foundation are organising a sculpture exhibition at Kultaranta’s park in Naantali, Finland, from 30 May to 31 August 2025. The theme of the exhibition is ‘Layers’ and it features works by seven contemporary sculptors who work with wood and stone in particular. The exhibition is open to visitors during guided tours and open hours.
