We are building a more diverse, skilled, and international Finland by advancing breakthroughs in culture, education, and science
The Alfred Kordelin Foundation’s grants for science, art, and public education have been renewed. The foundation’s funding aims to support long-term and goal-oriented work and to address societal challenges.
The total amount of funding will remain the same – in total, the Kordelin Foundation will distribute EUR 3.5 million for science, art, and public education. The grants will be open for applications from August 15 to August 31, 2025.
On 24th April 2025 the Post Doc Pool foundations awarded some 1.22 million euro to 24 post-doctoral scholars. The grants awarded from Säätiöiden post doc -pooli are intended for scholars, who have recently completed their doctoral degree and wish to conduct research abroad from Finland for at least six months.
The Alfred Kordelin Foundation's electronic newsletter is published 4–6 times a year — the first issue will be released in May. The newsletter will gather information about our current activities, available grants, and updates on Major Cultural Projects.
