Major Cultural Projects
We are seeking groundbreaking major cultural projects that support our goal of creating a more diverse, skilled, and international Finland. Major cultural projects must be ambitious and offer solutions to societal challenges from the perspectives of art, science, or public enlightenment, or combinations thereof. In the evaluation of applications, we emphasize impact, interdisciplinarity, and long-term continuity – our goal is a vibrant and self-sustaining cultural field that enriches society in a sustainable way. The application period is 15-31 January every year.
City funds
The City Funds of the Kordelin Foundation promote local arts and culture. The grants support projects that promote the common good, build dialogue, and create new ways to work and cooperate. Grants from city funds can be applied for every other year. The application period is 15-31 January.
Post Doc Pool
Post Doc Pool is a grant resource set up by Finnish foundations, all members of the Association of Finnish Foundations, and intended for post-doctoral research abroad. Säätiöiden post doc -pooli has two application rounds per year: the spring application round in January, and the autumn application round from 15 August to 15 September.
New Classics
New Classics fund supports the work and growth of artists who have already established themselves in the field of art in Finland. By encouraging new forms of cooperation across funding schemes, it aims to increase the life cycle, audience, circulation and visibility of works and productions. The application period is 1-15 September every year.
