Alfred Kordelin Foundations has 15 city funds and dedicated funds. The 2019 scholarships and prizes have been shared during the April. Funds organized award-ceremonies locally. Grants and prizes were awarded 20.3.2019 by the board of Alfred Kordelin Foundation.
In 2019 Kordelin City funds awarded grants and prizes for private individuals, working groups and collectives support local culture. From Rauma Fund grants were given, for example, to Frikuleeri ry to enliven the local dance tradition and promoting the dance style “Purpuri”. Raahe Fund awarded author Pekka Jaatinen with working grant to write novel “Angel”. In addition to the grants, the awards were given to local actors and corporations in Seinäjoki and Nokia. In Seinäjoki, the Seinäjoki Technology prize was given to RMK Vehicles Corporations in recognition of innovative work. Nokia Fund awarded Nokian Näyttelijäyhdistys with the prize of €5000.
Also, grants from dedicated funds were awarded in the fields of chemistry (Gust. Kompa Fund) and pediatric heart disease (Helinä Wähä Fund). At the begining of the April, Jaakko Kolmonen Fund awarded four organizations (Pekka Heikkisen leipomo, Yhteismaa ry, Ruokatieto Yhdistys ry and Ammattikeittiöosajaat ry) with Jaakko Kolmonen Awards. Jaakko Kolmonen awards will be given yearly for individuals or organizations, which have been promoted finnish food culture.

Grants from dedicated funds are awarded in the fields of chemistry, pediatric heart disease, and research into Estonian and other Finno-Ugric languages.
